TRIO DÖGG are three women living in three countries. Members are; sopran singer Svafa Þórhallsdóttir (IS/DK), pianist Hrönn Þráinsdóttir (IS) and violinist Angelika Hansen (FO).
They started cooperation in the year 2012 and then again in 2016 playing in the Faroe Islands and in Denmark. Trio Dögg has played and premiered music by composers from the Faroe Islands, Iceland, and Denmark.
They teach in various music schools and are all very active in the music scene in their home countries.
SVAFA is a freelance singer. She graduated from the Royal Danish Musikkonservatiorum in Copenhagen. She works as a singer, teacher, and as conductor of various choirs.
HRÖNN graduated as a pianist from Hochschule für Musik in Freiburg and as a accompanist from Staatliche Hochschule für Musik, Stuttgart. She works as a accompanist in the Reykjavík Singing academy and at the Highschool of music.
ANGELIKA is a graduated violinist, who lives and teaches violin in the Faroe Islands.
