Camping on Mykines

Firstly, there are no public wildernesses or common areas in the Faroes, camping is only permitted at designated campsites.

The only campsite on Mykines is managed by the The Locals café.
For booking you can contact the café up on arrival, send an email or call in advance.

Fuel for Camping Stoves

Fuel for camping stoves and other camping gear is available at Handilsvirkið Niclasen in Sørvágur, close to the airport.
