Last chance to see the Summer Exhibition 2026!

Experience Scherzo – Faroese Contemporary Art one final time as we bring the exhibition to a close with a finissage.
The event will feature a conversation with curator Kinna Poulsen and the launch of a brand-new exhibition catalogue. You will also have the opportunity to meet many of the artists, and of course, we will be serving refreshments.
About the Exhibition Scherzo – Faroese Contemporary Art presents some of the most distinctive voices on the Faroese contemporary art scene. The exhibition brings together nine artists whose works span a wide range of media and expressions, including painting, printmaking, sculpture, textiles, sound, video, and text. Despite their diversity, the works are united by a shared vitality, expressive power, intensity, and edge.
The exhibition is curated by Kinna Poulsen and features works by Hansina Iversen, SUPERVISJÓN (Lív Mariu Róadóttir Jæger and Lasse Jæger), Randi Samsonsen, Jóhan Martin Christiansen, Silja Strøm, Jens Dam Ziska, Dan Helgi Helgason í Gong, and Vár B. Samuelsen.
The event begins at 4:00 PM, and the venue will remain open until 7:00 PM.
