The museum is open Tuesdays and Thursdays

The museum opened in May 2000 and includes old Faroese rowing boats and old artifacts from the time when the rowing boat was life saving. Also art from the famous Faroese impressionist painters Jóannis Kristiansen and Sámal Toftanes is shown.

The Boat and Art Museum has good facilities for talks and meetings. These can be used by appointment.

Opening hours: Tuesday 14:00-17:00 and Thursday 14:00-16:00

The museum operates from May 15th to September 15th. Outside of these dates, visits are available by appointment only.

The entry fee is 75 kr. for adults and 25 kr. for children.
