4-star hotel and conference venue with breath-taking views

This stunning 4-star hotel is located on a hillside with impressive views of the capital. It includes a restaurant, stunning spa and a cosy lobby bar and provides 4-star conference facilities.

Hotel Føroyar will have 200 rooms in 2020. 171 are in the main building and the other 23 are in the annex which was finished in 2017. A large part of the rooms in the main building have the same unique panoramic view over the capital Torshavn, the island Nólsoy and the North Atlantic Ocean.

The hotel also has a fitness room and a billiard room.

The design is harmonious with nature and the scenery outside every window. The rooms are light with big windows. All double rooms are the same size and equally equipped.

Conference and meeting facilities
Hotel Føroyar is classified as a 4-star conference venue by Horesta. It has plenty of well-equipped conference rooms suitable for smaller and larger meetings and conferences. It offers room for 2-400 guests.

The Banqueting hall on the top floor can seat 340 persons and 600 standing guests for receptions. This hall is wide and spatial with large windows and the most spectacular view over the city. Adjoining the banqueting hall is a cosy vestibule 'Vaglið' and a bar offering you the possibility to rest, and have a coffee break. Furthermore, the banqueting hall can be split into three different meeting rooms.

The six meeting rooms on the ground floor are in various sizes, offering seating from 14 guests at tables to 90 standing guests for receptions. Four of the meeting rooms have large windows towards the west with a view of the surrounding nature.  The suites have an excellent view of the city.
