SALT culture centre
Architectural oddity and culture cathedral
A silo for storing salt was built in 1938. The large and architecturally exceptional building was used until the early 1980s, followed by two decades of neglect and decay. After the turn of the millennia, restoration work slowly began with the aim of turning the silo into a one-of-a-kind culture centre capable of hosting international events and concerts.
A café is situated on the second floor, allowing visitors to enjoy views of the fjord and the impressive architecture.
The building doesn't have regular opening hours.
