the country’s largest shopping mall
Tórshavn is home to SMS, the country’s largest shopping mall. It includes clothing stores, a bookstore, a toy store, a jewellery store, a pharmacy, a large grocery store, an electronics store, and many more. It also has a food court with three restaurants. It even has a Burger King, one of only two international fast-food chains on the islands!
SMS also organizes various events which are held in the hall located in the centre of the shopping centre. Check out their website for an overview of upcoming events (text only found in Faroese).
