The local taxi company Olsen Taxi is stationed in the village of Sandavágur only 15 minutes from the airport. The company offers various tours including local driving from village to village, airport shuttle from to and from the capitol and other.
Below you can see a selection of taxi companies that can be found outside the airport terminal in connection with flight departures and arrivals.
Outside of these times if a taxi is not available on Vágar it has to drive from Tórshavn and this could take up to an hour.
