Beginner course in Raqs Sharqi

Welcome to a workshop where we’ll be dancing Arabic belly dance, also known as Raqs Sharqi 💃

🌸 The course is divided into two workshops, and you can choose to attend both or just one.

🌸 The workshops are beginner-friendly and open to all ages, genders and bodies who want to dance femininely and have fun together with others.

🌸 This is a safe and judgement-free zone where you can simply be yourself. There is nothing but love for ourselves and for the dance.

🌸 During this course, you’ll get to know your body better while moving to beautiful Arabic music. We’ll explore Arab art through dance and expand our horizons, both emotionally and physically.

🌸 All the money from the course will go directly to humanitarian aid in Gaza through the humanitarian organisation Oxfam.

🙏 If money is an issue for you, and that is what is keeping you from joining, please feel free to message me and we’ll figure something out together.

🌸 As this is a fundraising event, there are different price options to choose from, depending on what you are able to contribute.
