PUBLIC TRANSPORT 

A good option of getting around on Vágar and the Faroe Islands in general is traveling by public transport. On Vágar buses connect all the villages and during the summer there is a daily ferry connection between the island of Vágar and Mykines. Read more about public transport here.

CAR RENTAL

There are several car rental companies that have rental pickup and drop off service at Vágar Airport. The offices are located right next to the airport terminal.
